CR2450 button type lithium manganese dioxide battery, named according to the IEC standard. Among them, C- chemical battery system with lithium metal as negative electrode and manganese dioxide as positive electrode, CR-indicates that the shape of the battery is button type, so it is also called cr2450 button cell.
The 2450 represents the standard size of the battery. The button battery is named as the first two digits (less than 10mm as a digit) for the diameter and the last two digits for the thickness. 24 in the 2450 indicates that the diameter is 24.5mm, and 50 indicates that the height of the battery is 5.0mm.
Scope of application:
1. Used as a backup power supply for instruments, meters, industrial control boards, etc;
2, light, sound electronic products;
Use mode (connection mode with PCB board)
1. Use a battery holder; There are plug-in or patch pins on the battery holder, which can be soldered on the holes or pads of the PCB board, and the battery is placed in the battery holder; 2. Spot welding is carried out on the battery, the pins are welded, and then the battery with feet is welded on the PCB board.
Note that:
(1) The spot welding of the battery will produce high temperature and pressure, which can easily damage the electrical performance of the battery. Therefore, non-professional manufacturers cannot spot weld the battery
(2) The spot-welded battery cannot be wave-soldered, which will cause the battery to be short-circuited and scrap;
Precautions for safe use:
Lithium batteries contain unstable chemical materials, such as lithium, organic solvents and some chemical components. The wrong use of lithium batteries may cause the battery to heat, catch fire or explode, which may cause personal injury. In order to avoid accidents caused by using the battery, please read the following instructions carefully:
1, do not clutter the battery, bare pile together. When using and storing the battery, avoid direct contact between the positive and negative electrodes of the battery, and avoid contact between the battery and the surface of other metal materials. Because this will cause the battery with a strong current short circuit, and generate a lot of heat, causing the battery fire and explosion.
2, do not throw the battery into the fire. Batteries are extremely dangerous when placed in a fire, which can explode and burn.
3, do not heat the battery. When the lithium battery is heated to 100°C (212 °F), the rubber ring and other parts used for sealing are made of materials such as resin, which may melt when heated, causing electrolyte leakage and internal short circuits, which may cause explosion and fire.
Do not weld directly on the surface of the battery. Heat generated during welding may damage the sealed rubber ring and other parts, resulting in electrolyte leakage and internal short circuit, which may cause explosion and fire.
5, do not charge the battery. If the battery is charged, gas will be generated inside the battery, causing the battery to expand rapidly and explode and catch fire.
6, do not split the battery. When the battery is split, it will produce a gas that stimulates the throat. At the same time, the lithium chip inside the battery can easily produce a strong chemical reaction with water and air to produce an explosion.
7, do not make the battery deformation. When the battery is subjected to strong pressure, the sealing ring of the battery and other parts of the battery will be deformed and damaged, resulting in battery leakage and internal short circuit, which will cause the battery to heat, catch fire and explode.
8, different types of batteries can not be mixed. Because different types of batteries and new and old batteries have different voltages and capacities, mixing them will cause the battery to overdischarge and cause the danger of expansion and explosion.
9, the correct installation and use of the battery, to prevent the battery short circuit and the wrong positive and negative. Different electrical appliances should be equipped with corresponding batteries, and attention should be paid to whether the positive and negative poles of the battery are consistent with the positive and negative polarities of the electrical appliances.
